Let’s be honest – it’s hard to keep track of who’s a Millennial, Gen Z, or Baby Boomer. When were they born? What makes them tick? How do they work? If you’re like me and can’t remember, here’s a quick, funny breakdown:
• Baby Boomers (1946–1964): Born after the war when the world had a population boom. They value hard work, stability, and a time when phones had cords.
• Generation X (1965–1980): The “latchkey kids” who grew up taking care of themselves. Independent, they value work-life balance (or at least try to!).
• Millennials (Generation Y) (1981–1996): The internet pioneers. They crave purpose, love flexibility, and probably have 10 task management apps running.
• Generation Z (1997–2012): Digital natives. They live online, love authenticity (bye filters!) and want to save the plane.
• Generation Alpha (since 2013): The youngest generation, growing up with iPads instead of teddy bears. Time will tell what they bring!
So, easy to remember? Nope. But it’s worth understanding – because teamwork makes the dream work! 💪
